Medical Acupuncture

What is it?

Medical Acupuncture is based on the insertion of fine solid needles into the body. It is used to modulate abnormal activity in the nervous system and/or endocrine, exocrine and immune systems. Treatment targets are based on anatomically defined (neurofunctional) sites and are intended to reverse the neurological dysfunction that leads to clinical presentation of symptoms.

How can it help me?

Medical Acupuncture has been used succesfully for the relief of pain syndromes, issues with mobility and other diseases that respond to neuromodulation. Treatments can improve symptoms and sometimes even result in permanent resolution of the pathology, especially when it is the result of nervous system dysregulation.
